The following General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) govern the use of the platform „Sustainability Compass“ from HotellerieSuisse.

1. scope of application and conclusion of contract
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) govern the conclusion, content and termination of the contract between HotellerieSuisse and the accommodation companies that use the platform.

The contract is concluded by registering in myHotellerieSuisse and by accepting the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).
2. purpose of the platform
The platform supports accommodation companies in dealing with Sustainability in a structured way.
It serves in particular:
- orientation
- to determine the location
- identification and prioritisation of measures
The contents do not constitute individual expert advice

3. access to the platform
Access is via a personal login in myHotellerieSuisse.
The establishment is responsible for the secure handling of access data.
4. scope of services
HotellerieSuisse provides the platform within the scope of available resources.
There is no entitlement to availability at all times. Functions can be further developed or customised.
5. rights of use
The platform may only be used for your own business purposes.
All rights to content and technologies remain with HotellerieSuisse.
6. use of data and roadmaps
- Data entered will only be used to utilise the platform
- Roadmaps are not passed on to third parties
- HotellerieSuisse has no access to individual roadmaps
- Evaluations are only anonymised and aggregated
7. data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
This is an integral part of the contract.
8. liability
HotellerieSuisse is only liable for damage caused wilfully or through gross negligence.
Liability for indirect damage is excluded.
9. usage fee
- Free of charge for members
- Für non-members CHF 290 (excl. VAT) per year
- Contract term: 12 months with automatic renewal
10th contract termination
The contract can be cancelled by giving 30 days' notice.
Access will be blocked at the end of the contract. A data backup is possible during a transitional period.
11. place of jurisdiction and applicable law
The place of jurisdiction is Bern.
Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
12th &Amendments to the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
HotellerieSuisse may amend the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).
 Any changes will be communicated before they come into force. If they continue to be used, they are deemed to be accepted.
